Question: Hello,
I just received my lab results. Overall my sugar is steady below 100 over the years. My cholesterol was 173 this rear and has ranged from 155-179 over the years. Mt Trigs went down to 187 from 218, lost 20 pounds. Overall LDC is 103, last year was 79. I see the good HDL is low and ratio is 6.2. What do I need to do?

As information I have had a torn meniscus rt leg for a year and get sore when I do activity. Put off to ensure heart issues are resolved.

I switched to nadalol a year ago and I feel very good. Havent had a afib issue since cardioverted 2013 and put on sleep apnea.

Now question I see absolute eosinophilis elevated at 967. last year it was 150. All other white blood is good. What is driving this and what do you get from lab results. I don't feel sick but I have had a cold a month ago. Just tired from working 10 hours a day and pills for afib (nadalol) makes me tired. Besides that I feel good.

Best way to increase HDL is to increase physical activity.
You should go for brisk walk regularly.
Triglyceride level is still high.Avoid saturated fat and take lot of fibers in your diet.
Absolute increase in eosinophil may be due to allergy. It may be related to recent cold.It may be a temporary finding, you may need follow up test.

Tiredness may be related to raised lipid(triglyceride). You may need fenofibrate tablet at night after dinner.

Get well soon.

thank you, just curious if the nadalol suppressing adrenaline could cause this elevation and maybe cause hypoadrenal? my gastro doc thinks i have an adrenaline overproduction and thats why metatropol didnt work and nadalol is. lastly should i call for antibiotics if there is infection. all other white blood counts are normal. thank you
