Question : I am 34 years of age. I went on Vasectomy surgery in 2008 and reversed it in 2015. I did my semen analysis test to check, if everything OK from my side. My semen analysis says "NORMOZOOSPERMIA" Count : 110 Million/ml, Volume - 1 ml, Rapidly progressive - 50%, Sluggish - 15%, non motile - 35%. Total motility - 65%. Morphology Normal - 84%, Pin Head - 6%, Head defect - 8%, Neck defect - 1%, Tail defect -= 1%, Reaction - Alkaline (Ph: 8.0). Am I OK to have baby with above results?

Brief Answer:
The analysis appears to be normal to have a baby.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Hi & Welcome.
Thanks for posting your query on healthcare magic.
Gone through your history and the given result of semen analysis.
As per World Health Organization (WHO -2010) recommendations the normal semen analysis to have a baby should be as follows:
1. Volume should be more than 2 ml
2. Sperm count should be 15 million/ml
3. Rapidly progressive+Sluggish should be 50% or more
4. Normal forms should be at least 4%
Although all the parameters in your report are within normal limits except for the volume which is 1ml. The volume depends upon the abstinence period, it should be at least 3 days of abstinence before collecting the semen.
Hope I could answer your query.
