What Do My Urine Analysis Test Reports Indicate?

Question: this is 3rd time speaking to you guys.
this is a bit Long but please bear with me as we dont have another option for medical advice until next week as all my wifes doctors are out.
thank you
its the holidays and though my wife has seen her doctors including primary, gyno and urologist, she has not been able to ask questions or follow up due to holidays and all her doctors being on vacation.
Her history is outer itching and burning in her genetal area per 6 weeks which she treated with monistat with short runs of clearing up of symptoms.
After 6 weeks it was accompanied by constant urge to urinate. She has also had some slight discharge(white). She has no fever
Her urine output is normal per her MD.
3 Urinalysis show very similar findings of trace bacteria and leukocytes. Metabolic panel, CBC, ALT, AST, creatine, BUN, GFR all normal. Her bladder, kidney and abdominal scans were normal as well.
She was started on bactrim 2.5 weeks ago but got hives after first dose, So her gyno switched her to macrobid. She started macrobid and took one diflucan but at the end of the 5 days on macrobid she still felt urgency to urinate.
At this point she saw a urologist who put her on cipro. After 2nd pill on the first day she had an anaphylactic reaction that put her in the emergency room over night where ER doctor discontinued cipro.
its been 3 days since her reaction to cipro.she did have 1 hive pop up on her leg 2 days after her anaphylactic reaction though her last dose of cipro was the night she had anaphylaxis and has been on no meds since, so we arent sure why that happened.
weve contacted her doctors all several times with no response even after leaving messages that her meds put her in the emergency room and the ER doctor took her off them.
Our questions are:
1 - Your thought on whats going on?
2 - Thoughts on reason for random hive and slight itchy feeling while on nothing 2 days after reaction to cipro?
3 - Her Gyno did start her on diflucan but when perscribed cipro she couldn't take diflucan because they are contraindicated. its been 3 days since cipro, can she take the second diflucan pill?
4 - She switches to a new job tomorrow so this has been extremely stressful with all these issues plus the job switch as we will not have insurance if something happens and she cant start her first day.
5 - What can she take to make her more comfortable?
6 - Was the reaction to bactrim and cipro just random or is her body getting a bit overloaded?
Again, thank you
I forgot to ask if over the counter Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride would help her make it through a couple days of discomfort until she can see her doctor because she is miserable?
Also, is it extremely safe? We are very cautious after her reaction due to the ER doctors talking about her level of reaction being possibly life threataning because of the throat and airway involvment.

Brief Answer:
Careful balance between treatment and work balance required

Detailed Answer:
Hello My Dear Sir,

My best wishes to both of you. I understand your dilemma and will do my best to apprise you of approach to various concerns listed by you.

I am Dr V XXXXXXX , a Sr Dermatologist and Venereologist

I have read the description thoroughly and have following suggestions for anybody in the same situation as described.

1 Health is undoubtedly more important than another consideration.

2 After going through details, I have concluded that most probably it is case of lower genital tract infection and that the person has known allergies to several drugs. Therefore, extra caution will be needed.

3 Anyone in this situation, should drink plenty of water, have less of acidic foods, maintain scrupulous hygiene of the genitals by washing and drying up using plain water at room temp, abstain from sexual activity, and take rest as far as possible

4 Citro soda is a safe and effective urine alkalizer that can be had orally two times a day to relieve burning micturition.

5 vaginal pessaries of Miconazole followed by locally applied broad spectrum vaginal creams like Clotrimazole should be great help

6 Medicines may cause allergies even if they're largely considered safe. Individual experience is the only nearly sure test. This applies to Phenazopyridine too. However, citro soda will be better option in my view

7 Any medication that has earlier caused allergy needs to be refrained from use.

8 Lactobacillus preparations are help in several patients with this profile

9 Hives can continue to appear for several days after the offending drug was removed. So that should not be the major concern except that avoid that drug and be careful when using medication related to that group. Bactrim and Cipro need to be avoided.

10 It is advisable to get urine culture and sensitivity, genital scrapings for fungus, yeasts, and Trchomoniasis done to arrive at conclusive diagnosis

11 Blood sugar should also be tested.

12 Consider switching her over to another urinary antibiotic to have a safer antibiotic and also begin with low dose to see if she tolerates it well.

All in all, a balance has to be drawn between health and work conditions. I have suggested a regime by following she should be able to not only get better but also comfortable enough to join work.

I am with you at every stage. Do drop a line in case you feel like and I will attend to you on priority.

All your queries have been answered, not necessarily in the same order as you listed.
Our best wishes to both of you.

Brief Answer:
The two can be combined for better results

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome and best wishes

I have noted your query. It is good option to use vaginal pessaries and creams for the lower parts together.

The pessary needs to be used as high as possible and preferably at night. The cream can be applied twice a day after thorough cleaning with plain water and wiping the area dry.

Both are known to yield superior results.
Let me know if further help be required.
Our best wishes to both of you, especially as she switches a job.
