Question : I have a hernia located behind my belly button that does not stick out but can be felt when I push in that I've had for about 6 years. Lately, several months now I've been having pain to the left of it and some in my lower abdomen and seems to be connected into my left testicle. I'm also have some very mild pain in my left hip. Could all of this be coming from my hernia or should I be worried about something else?

Brief Answer:
This is not from umbilical hernia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

This symptoms are rather not caused by umbilical hernia. There kind be some radiation from umbilical hernia but not to the testicle or groin.
More probable is some kind of testicle inflammation, bladder inflammation, prostate inflammation or even inguinal hernia.

I suggest you to consult your doctor, have blood work and urine analysis done. You should also have testis ultrasound, groin ultrasound and consult urologist.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
