Question : I have RA. I get these bumps on the pads of my thumb and forefinger that are very painful. Eventually they come to the surface like a blood blister. Black and hard.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. You could be referring to rheumatoid nodules which could be a part of charcot's arthropathy. However, the mere description is not enough to arrive at a diagnosis. I would request you to upload image of the affected areas. It will help me to evaluate the condition.

I would await your response based on which I will guide you further. Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
