What Do Persistent Nausea And Pain Near The Ribs Indicate?

Question: My daughter felt a popping sensation below her left rib and she's been nauseous ever since. It is tender to the touch and standing upright hurts her.

Tenderness on touch and pain worsening with specific posture are mostly related to musculoskeletal pain.
But better to first rule out GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and lung related pain.
So please let me know
1. Is she having stressful life?
2. Is she having cough or fever?
3. Is she having burning epigastric pain with burping?

Follow up: Dr. Drkaushal85 (25 hours later)

All symptoms seem to be gone now except for the pain on left side at base of ribcage.

There was no coughing at all.
