What Do Pulling Sensation On The Knuckles Of Fingers Indicate?

default
Posted on Tue, 23 Jun 2015
Question: Not sure id I hurt my hand during some auto repairs but I have a strange sensation in my right index finger at the knuckle. When I move (flex) the digit it feels like a rubber band stretching and pulling. As well, if I move the skin around that area it feels like I am moving a piece of rubber on the knuckle. If I place an ear up to the finger while I do this I can also hear the rubbing against the bone as if it were rubber. It does not hurt but I am worried it could and it that it may not heal quickly. What could this be and how should I deal with it?
