What Do Rashes On Penile Shaft Indicate?

I have for several years had rashes that develop on my penis shaft, typically on the top, as if it were friction against my jeans. it also comes in the form of dry small red circular paths randomly around my penis. Sometimes they are mildly itchy, sometimes not at all, but when they get dry, they flake and slowly heal. This process will repeat (sometimes for months). My testicle skin and penis head skin also becomes red and shiny, though it rarely peels and never itches. I have seen doctors who presumed it was Fungal or Yeast based, but not amount of yeast or antifungal cream has any affect. Time seems to be the only factor in it residing.
Additional notes- I have pretty severe allergies to some metals, most notable nickle, and often get itchy rashes in my armpits and behind my knees.
So the real concern I have is that just recently I be began having sex with a new partner and small rips or tears began appearing between the head of the penis and the skin that connects to it in conjunction with the rash explained above developing again. It can become extremely painful, requiring a day or two for them to heal, which is followed my some mild peeling. I know I should go see a doctor again, but i have been pretty unsatisfied with the constant diagnosis of fungal.
Genitalpsoriasis possible,More abstinence to heal
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Your problem does not seem to be due to yeast infection, as it is uncommon to have over shaft of penis. If it is due to yeast, treatment should be appropriate with anti fungal creams and tablets with adequate dosage for adequate duration.
Partner has to be treated if necessary. Diabetes and other predisposing factors have to be ruled out.
Shiny and scaly rashes with recurrences may likely be due to some other skin diseases (not related to STD), like psoriasis or lichen planus. You had also history of allergies to various articles like nickel. Those allergies may also be related. If you haven't consulted a dermatologist, visiting them is the next step according to me. If there is any confusion regarding the diagnosis, biopsies will help us out.
Regarding the tear and pain over the penis following sex contact, it is not enough to give rest for one or two days, but to stick to sexual abstinence not less than 7-10 days till a complete healing takes place.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
