Brief Answer:
Headaches and recent cataract surgery

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are having headaches with reading and bright lights. This maybe due to the cataract surgery allowing for more light to enter your eye. What medication have you been using to help your headaches? I would also like to know what your medical question is. Is it about possible withdrawals from the medication of what is causing your headaches? Please be more specific on your question.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Regards to other meds across counter,I would say majority of them. I try coffee but it bothers my stomache.I thought of maybe just the caffine pill..

Brief Answer:
OTC headache pills

Detailed Answer:
I would agree that using OTC pain medications on a daily basis may cause rebound headaches and should be only used on a rare as needed basis. There is caffeine in medication OTC like Exedrine migraine which may avoid the stomach upset you have with coffee. As with any medication moderation is best.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
