Question : Hi
I am a 31 year old male. Recently slept with an unknown female unprotected. I had an std check this week and i am awaiting results.
I notice red spots on my penis 2 weeks after a sexual encounter with a girl. The spots have not changed in 4 days and have no puss and do not hurt or give me and irritation. I am quite worried though as i have not seen this before on my penis. They are not raised. They are spread out over my penis about 6 spots. I am not sick or have no flu like symptoms. I am awaiting results from my doctor but i was hoping you could give me some imput please
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Possible sypilis chanker or condyloma accuminata.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

The sexually transmitted infections you need to rule out are:
-- Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Trichomonas, which are diagnosed either by urine, blood or urethral secretions.
-- HIV, Hep B and Syphilis which are diagnosed by blood specimen.

Two common STI are also Herpes and HPV (condyloma/genital warts) but those generally are diagnosed by symptoms.

What you are describing seems either like a syphilis chanker or condyloma. If you upload some photos in our system I will maybe be able to tell what it is. Also, the lab results will clarify us a lot. If those have appeared after the sexual contact and also the location (in the sexual organ) its a very good indicator that the diagnoses is for sure one of these sexually transmitted infections.

Hope this is helpful.
Looking forward to your follow up question.

Regards,
Dr.Papaqako
