Question : Niece, approx. 34 yrs old is having severe pain and warmth in left breast and underneath the breast; what should she do right away...her mammogram did not show anything but breast are very dense. Thank you so much.

Hi,

I understand your concerns.

This could also be sign of an impending heart attack as pain is on left side.

I would advise her to get an electrogram ( ECG). This would rule out any chance of heart attack.

If ECG is normal, she can use contraceptive pills available over the counter for few months to correct any possible hormonal imbalance and treat the pain.
