I noticed it on Saturday when scratching my head. It comes and goes and the size varies. I'm currently on antibiotics (doxicyclene) for sinus/ear infection. I'm also on dymista (nasal spray) to open my nasal passages. I take zyrtec and bystolic daily. XXXXXXX 1st I joined Advocare and have been on their nutrition supplements since then. I have not had an recent head trauma. I do not feel as though my head is swollen. I do live with sinus pressure on a regular basis due to allergies. I have not noticed a fever or redness in that area. No other body issues other than currentl

Brief Answer:
Most probably sebaceous cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers.I have gone through them. Most common differential in this case is sebaceous cyst. It can be formed randomly and usually presents with such symptoms. I would suggest you to once visit hospital and get an appointment for a General Surgeon. He will examine you and will discuss further management. Ultimate treatment includes surgical excision. It usually is done under local anesthesia and get resolved completely.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!

After researching this online I do not see that as the answer. It is not bulging it sinks in. My husband and I wonder if it has anything to do with my sinuses. I am on the second round of antibiotics in a month for a sinus infection and have a lot of sinus pressure. Is it possible this could be sinus related?

Brief Answer:
Please see description

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Sorry for if the answer was not up to your satisfaction. It is unlikely to be caused by a sinus infection. Even if there is some ongoing sinus infection then it will NOT cause such depression. I would suggest you to once visit hospital and get an appointment for a "Consultant Surgeon" for examination of that area. He may advise X-ray or CT for further evaluation and for decision of management.

Thank You
