Brief Answer:
disease is not responding

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

From your other queries, I have got some idea about the primary disease. This PET-CT scan however, shows that the disease is not responding to the current chemo regime, ie GEMOX. So it would need change of therapy.

Exact regime chosen would depend upon your general health, adverse effects pf previous chemo, any complications, etc. We use protocols like DHAP or ICE.

Hope this helps.
Regards

Brief Answer:
probably he thinks transplant will not help now

Detailed Answer:
This can be a difficult scenario, unless the disease responds a bit, transplant is unlikely to help. That is why I said to try some other chemo. But the treating physician is the best person to decide what kind of chemo, IV or oral, etc.
