Question: I had a blood test done yesterday and now have the results but not sure how to interpret them however the end result 5.93 which higher than the normal values given, can you explain a little in layman's terms please, thank you? The other results are either slightly high or low ie., hemoglobin low=133, hematocrit low=0.39, rbc low=4.0 wbc high=8.3 segmenters high=0.74 lymphocytes norm=0.26.

Brief Answer:
Please mention the test name.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

Your total wbc count and hemoglobin is normal.
Hematocrit and RBC count is slightly low but not significant.

Segmented wbc count is high which suggest some infection. That may be due to your infected wound so for that you need antibiotics treatment.

You mentioned result of 5.93 but I don't know the test name for which you get result of 5.93.

So please mentioned the test name so that I can help you to understand. Or send me your report.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me.
I will be happy to answer.
