Please give advice on the attached reports

Answered by Dr. Deepak Sundriyal (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
Patient requires further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
I have gone through the reports.

So by aspiration it seems a malignancy. However for definite diagnosis, a biopsy will be required. On biopsy it may turn out to be either lymphoma or carcinoma. As treatment is different for both, a biopsy is must. In both cases it looks curable. So go ahead with biopsy.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
hello. These are different types of tumors

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Lymphoma is a tumor that arises from lymphatic cells. Carcinoma is also another types of tumor that arises from epithelial cells. The nasal cavity contains both lymphatic cells as well as epithelial cells , hence both lymphoma and carcinoma can arise from there. Hence it is very important to correctly identify these tumors as treatment is different for both.
