Question: EP Cells : 2 - 4 / hpf
Blood : Nil Pus cells : 8-10 /hpf
Mucus : Nil Macrophages : Nil
Odour : Nil RBCs : Nil
Parasites : Nil Fat globules : Present
is this report normal? My 3 yr old daughter complains about stomach pain... She burps n tells its gone.. is it gas.. v visited doctor n v r told stomach sounds r normal.. so he advised stool process.. My daughter complains about the pain wen gap btw meals is long, especially in the morning..

Your description is typical of hunger pains, very commonly seen in growing children.

Please increase the frequency of meals, you can give smaller but frequent meals, it will help.

That said, presence of pus cells indicates some amount of infection, presence of fat globules is not conclusive.

You would need to get a stool culture done to isolate the causative bacteria.
