Intermittent --- lower body pain, testicular pain, knee joints pain, lesions on knee, elbow, on inner thigh lesions present since last few months, mild balanoposthitis. Fungal infection around groin since last few months. Still getting treated.

Am I free from all STDs?
What am I suffering from?
Does hiv test cover all HIV 1 group M subtypes A,B,C,D,E,F,G, crfs, group o, group n and HIV 2? I'm much worried about this.
Do I need any further testing for Hiv like western blot, rna?
How should I proceed?
What caused lesions.?

Brief Answer:
you are free from HIV infection. Symptoms not related to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Your question lacks the basic information about your age, sex, whether you are on any drugs already or not.

All exposures are not necessarily infectious. When your sex partner had no HIV/STD, you are not at risk.
All your tests had been done 12 weeks after the exposure (That is well beyond the maximum possible window period for these tests). All were nonreactive. So you are free from HIV/STDs, including the uncommon varieties. That is very much conclusive by multiple tests. You need no further tests for HIV/STD. Western blot of RNA tests are unnecessary for you.
Your symptoms are not related to HIV/STD.
As your age, sex and associated conditions were not mentioned, I can not extend any opinion on your conditions except that these are very common symptoms and can occur to anybody in the absence of HIV/STD.
When a Fungal infection of skin had not responded, following things have to be thought of:
1. Inadequate treatment (dose or duration)
2. Drug resistance (range of alternate drugs available)
3. Rule out Diabetes mallitus
4.Immunosuppressive drugs
5. Source for reinfection
6. Life style modifications
Consult your physician and Dermatologist and get well soon.

I'm M/28.

Feb,

I got pain/burning in anus. Doctor said it's fissure, and small ulcer inside anus. gave zocef cv. That was of no help. I also took 15 days of candiforce for fungal and 1g azythromycin. I got a pimple in right thigh near the pelvic joint, visited dermatologist and he said mollascum

With all this I got severely panicked of herpes. Development huge anxiety. my food intake became one meal a day, lost 3 kgs in 10 days.

Then from Feb 23rd Lower body pain started, crawling and tingling in pubic hair region, along with anal pain which further made think that I m infected with herpes. There were no typical herpes lesions.
My eyes burn. I thought I infected eyes as well with herpes by autoinnoculation. This anxiety led me think that I'm infected with herpes.

I was so obsessed with herpes.

March,

Then I read about hiv subtypes which panicked me again. I some times got pink rash and scared me further.

After losing 3kgs in Feb, I started eating 3 meals and gained 4 kgs in March.

Slowly anal pain / burn disappeared now, almost 2 months.

April,

Now, I m in 3rd day of 7 day 100g twice doxcy course.

Yesterday, I had severe right knee burning / paining for sometime. It became normal after massage.

Now, intermittent testicular pain, legs pain, joint pain.

I visited dermatologist today, he said fungal infection is cured, lesions are normal.

I now decided to stop Internet research, visiting doctors and move ahead in life with exercise and my regular activities. If even after this I get pain, I'll visit gp.
