Question : My mother in law age of 60 years feel lump two weeks ago with slightly pain, we go for Ultra sound and they suggest Biopsy of left breast. we done it. report of ultrasound and biopsy attached. need advice
Brief Answer:
It is indicative of breast cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Breast cancer has been proven here. However, as per ultrasound report, it is small and hence nothing to worry.
She should undergo surgery now, which can be the removal of tumor plus glands in armpit or removal of the whole breast. This would depend on surgeon's advice.
After that, depending on final biopsy report she may require Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
