Brief Answer:
Mixed astigmatism

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
This is mixed astigmatism leading to some loss of vision.Good part is that he has been detected so early and such children respond very well to treatment.
Management is first glasses and then pleoptic exercises. The aim is to improve vision with or without glasses.Since the child has never used glasses, few months of using glasses starts improving the vision, later on pleoptic exercises hasten the visual improvement.
You are in good hands.Follow the doctors advice. It is a long journey. The child will regain good vision.

Thanks so much doctor for ur reply my query is once he starts using glasses he will not have any impact to his vision right I mean will he have any problem with eye vision,

Also can he watch TV.My main concern is about hos eye sight.I hope he will not have any impact to his eye vision after use of glasses. Also what could be reason for this.Mixed astigmatism

Brief Answer:
Mixed Astigmatism

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Good of you to get back to me.

I'll start from the beginning. This astigmatism is due to slightly irregularity in the roundness of eye ball. Using glasses will definitely effect his eyesight as it will improve and he can watch TV, but as with children you have to have some control over TV time. Regular checkups will guide us about progress.
Ask your doctor about pleoptic exercises.
