What Do These BP Readings Indicate?

Question : My heart Dr. has told me to cut Norvasc to 2.5 once a day. I had 2.5 last night at 1700 and 2.5 at 0500.BP right now 114/76/95. sometimes I can feel heart beating in chest and pulse in neck even lips, Is 95 too high for 86 yr old female.? Also, since I had been takig 5mg a day, can I skip tonight, but wait until tomorrow night to take. I would rather take at night,not get so tired next day.

Your BP is very much under good control that is 114/76 and 95 is mean BP which is also with in normal range. Ya you can take medication at night time

You can skip one dose as your doctors advice but get your BP measured regularly.

Feeling heart beat could be due to stress or anxiety, better to get your cardiac work up done.

My question I really wanted answered was"since I took 2.5 Norvasc last night and 2.5 this am and my heart DR. told me to cut it to 2.5 once a day since I wont take it tonight, is it ok to wait until tomorrow night?" That will mean36 from the last pill. That was not answered. My heart Dr. was not available today is why I asked my question to a cardiologist.

As you have taken dose in the morning, you can take one more dose today evening and from next day you can continue only evening dose.
