Dear friend

The Lipids are reasonable. However, the LDL-C could be lower to 70…
HDL is good cholesterol – higher, the better.
LDL is bad cholesterol – lower, the better. In the absence of any other risk factor 100 is ideal for LDL-C. In the presence of several risk factors or heart disease, 70 should be the aim.
Keep your weight to normal - Your BMI is > 35 = in OBESE range
Quit smoking, if you are a smoker
Do regular EXERCISE – say walking or jogging - 30 minutes a day / at least 5 days in a week. Isometric exercise (like bull worker) is bad.
Healthy FOOD is a must. Avoid saturated fats – coconut oil, palm oil, butter, ghee, full cream milk...Avoid junk foods in particular – French fries have palm oil / Pizza has cheese / XXXXXXX sweets are made in ghee.../ Change to Poly-un-saturated oil – like sun flower oil. / Include Mono-un-saturated oil – Olive oil.
Repeat after 3 months / If still above 70, a small dose of statin (like atorvastatin) may be added by your doctor.

HbA1c is glycosylated haemoglobin - average concentration / not affected by daily fluctuations but by the average glucose levels over the past six to eight weeks. Therefore, HbA1c is a useful indicator of how well the blood glucose level has been controlled in the last 2 to 3 months / reflecting the effects of diet, exercise, and drug . You can control your diabetes better - probably by starting a drug like Metformin and/ or Voglibose to start with / repeat the level in 3 months. Your doctor will give appropriate prescription and follow up advice.

Good luck
God bless you
