                                    Brief Answer:
Progress depends upon the cause.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX ji,
Good evening!
I appreciate your concern for your beloved son.
After having gone through your query I am of the opinion that your son is suffering from hepatitis which is reflected in high bilirubin and SGPT level.
However, he needs to be investigated further to find out the cause of hepatitis.
Most commonly hepatitis is caused by virus A, B or less commonly by C, D, and E.
So he needs to be further investigated to find out which virus is responsible for his present condition. Other liver function tests like alkaline phosphatase, GGT, SGOT should also be done.
The treatment suggested by the doctor is alright.
Hope to have answered your query..
