What Do These X-ray Findings Indicate?

Question: My 4 year old son fell and broke his left arm on 30-Dec-2015. We went to Emergency Room on the same day and got the arm in cast and sling. We will be going for a follow up visit in two days. The sling never remained through out and my son started playing at home. He slowly started moving his left arm unknowingly and while sleeping. He is not complaining of any pain. We are worried if he needs to be in sling through out and if he needs to take rest instead of playing (only indoor). Also if at all there is any untoward bone movement, will he have any pain? I am attaching all XRAYS.

Brief Answer:
No harm in removing sling.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen all the X-rays. There is no harm in removing the sling or moving the arm while the cast is there. In case There is any untoward bone movement then definitely there will be a sharp pain. He can remove the sling while resting also. He can play outside also as long as he keeps the sling on.
I hope this answers your query.

Thanks for again answering my query. Sorry to ask again since I was worried. So, as long as my son is not experiencing any severe pain, bone movement is not affected. Am i correct? Please confirm

Brief Answer:
Not to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Any movement of the injured bone causes a severe pain. As long as there is no acute pain there is no need to worry. Just relax.
Hope my answer is helpful.
