Question: Hello Doctor,

This query is in regard of my wife, Deepmala.

We are expecting our second bay which is due in November 2nd week 2015. The history is as follows
- Our first baby was born on 14/02/09 (Female child, through C-Section)
- We conceived again in April 2014 but she had a miscarriage within 6 weeks
- We again conceived in October 2014 but again she had a miscarriage due to XXXXXXX syndrome (see attached report from Metropolis) by 11 weeks
- We conceived again and we are expecting our second baby in November

We conducted couple of tests to check if there are any Genetic issues are there or not in the current pregnancy.
1) Anomaly Scan
2) Quadruple Blood test

I am attaching the report for your reference. Please let me know if I need to do any further scan or tests in this regard. The doctor has suggested to have a repeat anomaly scan though everything appears to be fine.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Repeat anomaly scan as adviced.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I have gone through your wife reports and there is no such significant abnormalities are seen but as a bad obstretic history and one single echogenic cardiac foci seen in baby report( sometimes indicator of down syndrome) I would suggest you to go for repeat anomaly scan ( second level ultrasound scan) to rule out any congenital abnormalities ( though in recent reports everything is fine).
I would not suggest amniocentasis in your case as your rest of the report for foetal anomaly is normal.
Hope it is of some use, please feel free to ask further questions.
Good luck.

Brief Answer:
She is on good treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,
Thanks for giving me details about the drugs.
Everything is fine except one tablet Vgain and lymocap.
Both contains multivitamin and multimineral,so she can take one of them.
In my opinion lymocap is better.
Along with these medicines she should take healthy and nutritious diet, take appropriate rest, some yoga and meditation and relaxation.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.
