Question : Hi Doctor,

My mother got this Urine tested and attached is the report.

Can you please tell the reason of this high RBC and what should be the next step for treatment

RBC in urine can indicate presence of stones in the urinary tract or injury to the urinary tract of kidneys.

Utrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis (KUB) identify the above causes if present.

Hi , Ultrasound I will get it done later.
Before that she is suffering from fever since last 4 days and it is not coming down.

Hi,

Thanks for the follow up.

Reports show low platelet count and the total leukocyte count is also low. Such presentation is seen in viral fevers like Dengue.

I would recommend Dengue NS1, IgM and IgG test done.
