Brief Answer:
Increased HSCRP may indicate infection/inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Your findings suggests
1. Increased HSCRP(highly sensitive C-reactive protein). It may be related to infection/inflammation.
It may be to arthritis, muscle pathology, bacterial or viral infection etc. Without evaluation and further investigations the underlying cause for this elevation cannot be found. I suggest a visit to rheumatologist.

2. Mildly raised SGPT level.
Increased SGPT may indicate liver injury.I t may be due to many reasons like hepatitis, alcohol intake, fatty liver, auto immune causes etc.
You may need few more investigations like viral markers.
You may need to take tablet ursodeoxycholic acid.
You should go for brisk walk and do exercise.
Avoid smoking or alcohol if you take it.

3. Mildly decreased MCHC is acceptable since hemoglobin level is normal.

4. Increased blood urea nitrogen(BUN) may be due to dehydration, high protein diet etc. Since creatinine level is normal, increased BUN is not concerning.
You may need ultrasound of abdomen though

5. Cholesterol and LDL level are borderline high. You should avoid saturated fat and go for brisk walk regularly.

6. Vitamin D level is borderline low.You may need vitamin D supplementation. One tablet to be taken weekly for eight weeks.
You should also expose yourself to sunlight for at least 10 mins daily.

Findings are not serious. However I will recommend you visit a rheumatologist who can evaluate for causes of increased HSCRP. Perhaps other suggested investigations may also be considered thereafter.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

a) Can increased HSCRP levels be because of Tennis Elbow inflammation (For 4 months now, but the inflammation is less now)? Also I have lower back pain.
b) Can the SGPT level be high due to taking of diclonefac and Neorelax MR 8 anti inflammation tablets for elbow?
c) Do you see anything that can cause finger tremors?
d) Is HSCRP and CRP tests the same or these are different tests?
e) What can be done to control HSCRP?

Brief Answer:
HSCRP will come down with treatment of underlying cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Past history of tennis elbow is not expected to cause this much increased HSCRP. Lower back pain need proper evaluation. It is important to assess arthritis,in which we can expect this much raised HSCRP.

Normal dose of analgesics and muscle relaxants doesn't generally cause increase in SGPT. Your SGPT is marginally raised. It may be related to mildly elevated lipids like cholesterol and LDL.
I suggest to go for ultrasound of abdomen and follow up.

Finger tremor need proper assessment by a neurologist. It may be due to many causes which need clinical examination and proper history.

HSCRP is advanced form of CRP test.It is more accurate than CRP.

HSCRP will come down with treatment of underlying cause.

Brief Answer:
HsCRP is more accurate.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

HsCRP is more accurate for detecting C-reactive protein and compared to CRP test.
HsCRP detects protein (C-reactive protein)in lower concentration.
I think treatment should be based upon elevated HsCRP level.

Even the lipoprotein is very high. What can be done to control it?
How often would you recommend an HSCRP test to check if it is in control?
