What Do These Blood Sugar Levels Indicate?
Question: Dear Sir,
My age is 32 my sugar test result is before food is 101 and after food is 199 for this i have to take a tablet or else proper diet and excise is enough.

Your fasting blood sugar is in the normal range, though your post prandial (after food) sugar levels are deranged as it should be below 140 mg/dl.
You may go ahead with Tablet Melmet-500 mg.
I would also suggest you to make dietary and lifestyle changes. Reduce intake of sugar and sweets, avoid white rice and bread. Eat more of fresh vegetables and salads.
Also, you may go for moderate exercise for around an hour per day in the form of brisk walking or swimming.
You may repeat the sugar levels after a span of 3 months. Also you may get a Hb1AC test as well.

as the tablet to take is must or else diet is fine, if after three months sugar controls shall i stop the tablet or else i have to take for my life end.
