Brief Answer:
she needs Vitamin D correction

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

I have gone through the blood reports of your mother.

Here Diabetes screen is normal, no diabetes as such in your mother. In the hemogram, there is slight increase in lymphocytes. But this is just above the normal. Do nothing about this. Basophils is normal too, ignore the highlighted part. Rest of the hemogram is normal as well. Clinically small variations in numbers do not signify anything at all.

Iron profile is normal too. Kidney function is normal.

Coming to the lipid profile, the total cholesterol is increased at 227. Her HDL is good at 57. LDL is high at 139, non-HDL cholesterol is high too. However, these findings on lipid profile do not mandate drug treatment. With exercise and low fat diet, she can improve these. You may want to recheck the lipid profile after 3 months. As of now, I do not suggest any medicine for the same.

Liver function test is normal. Testosterone and Thyroid function tests are normal too.

Vitamin D levels are deficient at 6.72. She would benefit from weekly or daily supplementation of vitamin D. Please consult an endocrinologist/internal medicine physician for the same. Vitamin B12 is normal.

I usually prescribe one XXXXXXX of Mashyne 60000 IU on a weekly basis for 12 weeks and ask the patient to repeat the test.

Your mother can try this medicine as well.

Let me know if you have more queries.

Regards,
