Question : Hello Doc. Attached are reports of my brother. The doctors here have suggested an immediate surgery. Can you kindly give your inputs and if we do go for asurgery, any complications we might have.

I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I have gone through the documents and MRI films which you have uploaded.Hyderocephalus is apparent and with XXXXXXX chiari malformation as the cause,surgery is indicated.
However,I feel the need to see the MRI in detail to advise better regarding this.So,Please upload the MRI CD on google drive and share the drive link here in the follow-up question so that I can download and view the whole MRI with my default dicom viewer.

Further,please let me know about the details of your symptoms.
