Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
I have reviewed your reports and OPD files.
There appears to be mild degenerative changes in the spine of the neck region and lower back region.
These degenerative changes usually start by age 30 and continued throughout life. It can be accelerated by heavy activity, sedentary lifestyle as well.
She needs to avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. She can apply hot water fomentation to the painful regions. Continue physiotherapy. Muscle relaxants medication will help like Tablet Diclofenac and Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals.
Best to get an MRI scan of the cervical and lumbar spine to look for slip disc which is causing the symptoms.
Also if possible, please upload the Xray film as well because I want to look for any broken part of the spine which can cause the pain on jerking, called spondylolysis.
Once the MRI scan is done, the problem can be quantified and the right treatment plan can be decided.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
Regards,
Dr. Aashish Raghu
