Brief Answer:
About your blood tests :

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
From the result you reported the HbA1c and glucose level shows a good control of Diabetes.
If this is the first check and you have not been diagnosed with Diabetes before, i would say that the average of the glucose level during the last 3 months (125 mg/dl) is very slightly elevated and you do not need treatment.

If you are overweight and have risk factor for type 2 Diabetes (family history for type 2 Diabetes), for the next 2-3 months, try to follow the following guidelines. Then get your HbA1c level checked again:
1)Cut down the processed food. White bread, doughnuts, white sugar, pizza should be completely avoided.
2)High fibre diet, green leafy vegetables, fruit.
3)A 40 minute physical activity every day like morning walk, evening walk or a visit to the gym or swimming pool. (if you do not contraindications: heart problems ect)
The vit D level is very low and your doctor will prescribe VItD2 50 000 UI/week for 2 months for that. Vit B12 should also be corrected.
The high TSH level alone can be a cause of high Cholesterol, so in your case i would recommend to start the treatment with levothyroxine (the dose decided by your treating physician) .
Start on these changes and get back to me in 2 to 3 months. Wish you good health.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta

About cholesterol treatment:

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
So you have started treatment for low Vit D and low VitB12 levels.
I would suggest to start treatment for underactive thyroid as you have high cholesterol level and the low thyroid can be the cause.
Discuss with your treating physician about this.
The diet prescribed above and the correction of the TSH level are the first step of the treatment for your high cholesterol level.

Hope i have been helpful.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta

Brief Answer:
Welcome back.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
I can understand your concern, but you will need to get a medical prescription from your GP to start Levothyroxine 50mcg in the morning.
Of course he will exclude contraindications before giving it (heart problems, allergies ect)

Kind regards,
Dr.MIrjeta
