Question: I am having cough with chest pain. When I visited Manipal hospital, they initially did x-ray, then CT Scan, based on that Bronchoscopy assuming TB which is negative. After that biopsy was done and they are saying it as hodkgin lymphoma. We are awaiting PET scan and bone marrow test results. Attaching the reports of all tests. Could you please check and suggest if the tests and diagnosis based on test are correct.

Brief Answer:
Yes, diagnosis is correct.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the reports you have attached.
Tuberculosis is less likely in your case.
Biopsy is always gold standard for the diagnosis of any disease.
If biopsy is saying that possibility of Hodgkins lymphoma is more then you can not deny the diagnosis.
Lymphoma is common in young age group. So in my opinion, the diagnosis is correct.
You can review the biopsy slides to other pathologist for confirmation.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
