Question : my employer has some health problem. now doctor told to consult Cancer Hospital. Reports Enclosed.
he is alcoholic and tobacco chwerer

Hello dear. Welcome to HCM. His reports are suggestive of cancer of esophagus(foodpipe). He requires further test in the form of PETCT to look for spread of the disease to other places. Treatment can be decided after the PETCT report.

Hello dear. Treatment will include chemo, radiation and surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the reports. The treatment will include all three modalities. Chemoradiation (both simultaneously) should be done first. After that surgery has to be done. However even after doing all the treatment, the survival rates are not very good in carcinoma of esophagus. Only 20 percent of patient survive for 5 years or more.
