Brief Answer:
Get a slide test done for Platelet

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

After 1 month of fever, platelet counts can't fall as a result of Dengue she had.

I have reviewed the reports and a very high possibility could of of false reports of platelet count.

What happens is that a lot many times clumps of platelets machine read as one platelet and hence the total count reduces.

I would recommend you first of all to get her platelet count repeated from an authentic lab like Dr Lal Path Labs and request them for a slide method of platelet check.

If the result is still low platelet count, then she would require a bone marrow examination and aspirate.

So, get a repeat test done and write back to me.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.

Stay Healthy.

What's investigation shall be resulted by bone marrow examination?? Currently Mom have some cough problem and feeling cold more. Could this may be reason of PC decrease. As examined by doctor today they couldn't find any reason BP 130/80. And recommended Antoxid capsule for 10days OD. I will try tomorrow to reexamine PC by slide method as you suggested.

Brief Answer:
Get investigated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. See bone marrow examination is indicated in cases where there is persistent thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) as it is possible that platelet count might be low previously also and detected during dengue fever and thought to be a result of that only.

Yes, any viral can cause reduction in platelet count and she might be having common viral fever.

Get her repeat platelet count done preferably from Dr Lal path labs and write back to me with your reports.

I have worked in HIHT and her treating doctor Dr Sohaib XXXXXXX is one of the best Physicians and so in case you want you can see him again with my reference.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Go for bone marrow.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. Persistent thrombocytopenia without any symptoms like fever needs evaluation.
I would recommend bone marrow aspiration study at this stage.
You can get it done in your city at a big hospital or you may reach back to Dr Sohaib XXXXXXX at HIHT, Jolly XXXXXXX for this purpose.
However this investigation is not so costly but should be performed by an expert.
Good luck.
