Question : Hello doctor

My brother is 27years old.. Last year he has some problem in his genital area... After one year he has severe pain in left side of lower abdomen. Plz go through the attached reports of last year and also suggest for current situation asap.

Possibility of recurrence of Left Epididymitis has to be ruled out .

Hello
Thanks for uploading the old reports of Scrotal Scan which has revealed Epididymitis on left side .

Since he has pain in lower abdomen on left side there is every possibility of recurrence of Epididymitis on left side .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis to rule out any stone in ureter .
3) Ultrasound Scanning of scrotum.

In the mean while start him broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexime and anti inflammatory medication Diclofenac twice daily .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

the recent scrotal scan has revealed bulky tail of left Epididymis and your Dr has advised C.T scan and Biopsy to rule out Tuberculosis of the Epididymis .

Please go ahead and get CT scan done and take a call for biopsy after getting results of the C.T Scan
..
Else start taking antibiotics like Bactrim and anti inflammatory drugs like Diclofenac and Chymoral forte twice daily for 15 days and repeat Ultrasound Scan after two weeks . .
