On examination found to have benign cyst in left maxillary sinus for which she underwent cyst removal with sinus curettage.
As per CT report,"26 is missing and a well defined spheroidal hyper dense entity is observed In sinus floor corresponding to palatal aspect of edentulous 26 region, most likely of residual root piece".
My question is, whether this ailment is related to Dental problem or a ENT problem.

Brief Answer:
Maxillary sinus lesion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic and thanks for putting up the query
I have seen the reports and I can make out that you have been recently operated on. Probably you got the surgery done by a dental surgeon. I would advise you to consult an ENT SPECIALIST as sinus diseases are usually dealt by ENT SURGEON only. The approach depends on the surgeon. If you have any dental problem you should consult a dentist. As still some translucency is seen in the maxillary sinus floor, the sinus opening might need to be widened. So in my opinion you should consult an ENT SPECIALIST once at least.
Also tell me what symptoms are you having now?
Did you get any tooth extraction done in the upper jaw on the side of surgery anytime in the past?
If possible please send me the Ct scan pictures also.
Follow up with the required information so that I can suggest you better.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care
Thanks and regards
