What Do These Following Ultrasound And X-ray Reports Indicate?

Question : This is with reference to my 58 year old Aunt. She is having mild fever i.e. 99 degrees since last 20 days. Doctor prescribed sonography and xray . The reports are attached herewith. She is unmarried and without any kids. Doctor has now asked us to perform some biopsy. Kindly advise.

Hi,
I reviewed the attachments.

First, common causes of fever like Malaria, Typhoid, Dengue have to be excluded.

The Ultrasound finding is seen in all types of fevers. Doctor has asked for Analysis of fluid in the abdomen. He also asked for FNAC test of the lymph nodes in the abdomen. He wants to rule out Tuberculosis. There is no wrong in doing these tests.

But, before that, the common causes of fever have to be excluded.

I saw the reports.
In the last line of Ultrasound report,it's written to rule out Koch's abdomen. Koch's is nothing but Tuberculosis.
So,he want the fluid in her abdomen to send for analysis and rule out Tuberculosis.
