What Do These Lab Reports Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor,

I wanted to know about the life expectancy of single ventricle CHD with only PA banding done. I was not suitable for XXXXXXX or Fontan as my PA pressures were high so I was asked to be on Listril and ecosprine. I never had or I do not have any complications like breathlessness etc. My recent stress test showed as >10 METs and my echo reports were normal according to my cardiologist. However, I am at times anxious to know about the future outlook as I have a girlfriend and want to marry her.

First of all I would like to thank you for showing your trust in me. After going through your medical details provided by you I would like to tell you that your stress test report is fantastic and also your LV is good so your prognosis become very good.

Just stay regular with your prescribed medicines and keep on repeating follow up echocardiography yearly and forget about stress. Marry her and live your life. You are going to have a normal life just like other people. Stay positive as positivity harbours good health.
