Question : I tested positive for EBV and my Monocyte is at 10. I am still waiting for a few additional test results to come back. Is it likely I have Mono? Feeling extreme fatigue. Thank you!

Most likely, you are having mono.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

From your symptoms and the preliminary laboratory findings, it is possible that you have mono. If you have been involved in some kissing recently, that would be the most likely source.

Mono has no drugs for treatment. Best approach is resting, eating healthy and avoiding contact sports.
