Hi,

I can understand your concern.
Cough is mostly due to upper respiratory tract infection.
So better to start antihistamines. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Avoid oily and spicy food.

1. Do you have dry cough or cough with expectoration?
2. Do you have chest pain and fever?
3. Are you having any comorbid condition like hypertension or diabetes?
