Question : Bp of 170 over 65 means?
Brief Answer:
Un stabilised hypertension...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX!
I read your query and understood your concerns. Based on Bp dat you provided I can say that it looks un stabilised hypertension. Beside adding hydroclortiaside to your therapy it's not enough to stabilise your BP.
If you were my patient I would recommend to add a calcium channel blocker (for example amlodipin) in order to stabilise BP (BP < 140/90 mmHg).
Wish you health!
