Brief Answer:
Renal cystic disease most likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.

I have gone through your query.Your ultrasound report gives the impression of renal cystic disease. Most of the complex cyst requires further CT or MRI imaging to rule out whether benign or malignant.Internal echoes are a result of hemorrhage or infection in the cyst. But the function of your kidney is not compromised from the report as there is no enlargement or hydronephrosis. It is better to go for a CT or MRI to get more information as ultrasound has limited significance.
If it is found benign then no need to worry. If making any discomfort like pain hematuria, in such case cyst can be managed by cyst puncture aspiration and sclerosis using variety of agents.
Hope this may help you.Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks

Thank you for the detailed follow up. I do have a CT scheduled for this week. Unfortunately I am seeing a pattern, had two ovarian cysts that were found in ultrasound , one in my 20's and one during my pregnancy. Both of which had doctors wanting to do exploratory surgery and both ended with them finding no cysts. I am starting to wonder if there is some kind of connection now involving the kidney.

Brief Answer:
Can be misinterpretation of renal cyst.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for your follow up query.
The ovarian cyst you found in ultrasound can be a misinterpretation of renal cyst or a functional cyst which disappeared by its own. As ultrasound has limitation these things can happen. Only way to find the truth is by CT scan or MRI. Wishing you better soon.
Hope this may help you.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks
