Question : I would like to know if my friend infect me for Herpes 2 my result is Igg 3.5 and we just have one sexual contact10 or 12 weeks ago. He called me the other day and told me that he was tested for herpes 2 igg and he got IgG 5.0
I never had any symptoms but now that I know that I have the virus I feel itchy all the time. He told me that could be the possibility that I have that virus for a long time and that I didn't know, but prior to him I didn't have any sexual activity for the past 3 years. he told me that he never had or have any symptoms. so that is why I want to know because I'm angry, and upset, but more than anything scare.( I don't want to have genital problems for the rest of my life)

The results do show that there is presence of antibodies to hsv2.
As it is igG it tells that you have been infected by it in the past. It may be due to the partner you are speaking about or else. As he is positive it can be transmitted from him.
Many Infections remain asymptomatic and may not manifest.and it is likely by your history you never had any lesions. So you can relax and do not worry unless it manifests.maintain genital hygiene and good balanced diet.

what does it means in the past, I was with him 12 weeks ago, but when you said past can be more than a year?
the other question is that I read that when you have 3.5 needs to be retested in a few moths because the results can change.
Do you think that if I taking Silver 10ml per day I can eliminate the virus?
If we are both positive on herpes Igg we can have a sexual relation and nothing its going to happen or the virus can react an be worse?
