Question : I had TMT test 5 months back which is negative. I did has 2D echo last week which shows normal chamber dimensions, good lv systolic function, normal PA pressure, LVEF 55% but shows LV diastolic dysfunction. dr suggested to take Inderal 10. I am concerned on LV diastolic dysfunction

Hello,

After going through the medical details provided by you I understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that LV diastolic dysfunction happens when your heart muscles don’t relax properly and it happens commonly long-standing hypertension.

Indral helps in increasing the ventricular volume in patients with diastolic dysfunction and decrease heart rate and oxygen demand.

It’s recommended for you to take the Inderal as advised.
