Hello again,

Medications like STATINS such as Atorvastatin, Rosuvastatin etc can also lead to muscular pains that you described.Fibromyalgia is a chronic and generalized pain and tenderness disorder. Insomnia or poor sleep is a hall mark in fibromyalgia and may involve additional symptoms of depression, and fatigue. Trigger point injections, , chiropractor consultations acupuncture are some of the intervention options that are available as part of treating fibromyalgia. Ibuprofen and gabapentin can be advised initially in combination with either duloxetine or nortryptiline to assess for improvement, in consult with your doctor, if fibromyalgia is diagnosed.
