Question: my fathers psa total level is 27.39.age 60please suggest

Your father's PSA,is above normal level. You need to follow the next steps :
1. Consult an Urologist,who'll do a DRE or rectal examination.
2. repeat the PSA after a week,with blood routine,creatinine,RBS,LFT and platelets.
3. An ultrasound scan-Kub and TRUS(trans rectal ultrasound of prostate).
4. If the next PSA is also high,a whole body isotope bone scan,will be needed.
