Brief Answer:
Subclinical hypothyroidism is your actual diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern. By the exams you reported your diagnosis is subclinical hypothyroidism. The most probable cause of it, at your age is Hashimoto thyroiditis. It is an autoimmune disease and in most of the cases is inherited ( so probably you inherited it by your mother).
Before you start the treatment you will need to do some more exams to confirm the diagnosis;
-The antibodies of the thyroid ; AntiTPO and AntiTPO.
- A thyroid ultrasound to see the structure of the gland ( Is it enlarged? Are there nodules? ect.)
After the above exams you should start the treatment with levothyroxine.
Hope i was helpful and do not hesitate to ask if you have further queries.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
