What Does A Drop In Blood HCG Level Indicate?
Question: Hi doctor.... Ihave period last month 24 may 2015... After dat imiss my period and have positive urine test I go for blood test results is fine iam 5 week pregnant doctor told me after a week ihv start bleeding nd little cramps but not dat much lite nd lite bleeding in brown colour.. No clots... I go to check the doctor they go with another blood test my results perivious ihave hgc level 260 and now I dropped 45. But I do home pregnancy test is shown positive... Doctors say I hv miscarriage.. Idnt y it happen to me.... What the reason....what can ido now my bleeding is stop just for one day....

As you told that you had bleeding and your Blood HCG level is dropped ,it suggests that you aborted.
Urine pregnancy test comes positive till 2-3weeks even after abortion.Now i advise that you should go for ultrasound to check for complete abortion.consult with your gynecologist.
There are so many causes for abortion like thyroid abnormality,abnormal sugar level,chromosomal anomaly,ABO incompatibility.consult your doctor.
I suggest that you should evaluate before planning for next pregnancy and avoid pregnancy for 3-6 months so that your womb lining becomes healthy to conceive again.

As per advise you should not plan to conceive atleast for 3months.
And you should take folic acid from now onwards.
In next pregnancy,as soon as you get pregnant,you should start taking micronised progesterone as Tablet macgest 200mg(prescription drug) for 4months and Injection proluton depot weekly for 4months(prescription drug).These drugs help in sustaining pregnancy.
