Brief Answer:
DNS/Polyps/nasal tumors

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any associated head-ache or sneezes ?
Is nasal blockage associated with ear blockage ?

Kindly get back to me with details.

As per your clinical details, nasal blockage could be due to

1. Bleeding polypus

2. polyp secondary to allergy or infection.

3. Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS) with compensatory hypertrophy of turbinate -causes drying of mucosal crusts , where removal of dried crusts causes bleeding.

4. tumors - inverted papilloma, para nasal sinus cancers coming through nose.

I suggest you to consult ENT surgeon and give detailed history (allergy), detailed ENT examination (deviated septum causing sinusitis), Diagnostic nasal endoscopy- to see the lesion's origin and extent. If necessary CT scan para nasal sinuses- involvement of other sinuses, anatomical abnormalities. Audiometry - to see for Eustachian tube block (nasal lesions can cause ear problems)

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
