Question : i have had a lump near the tubes of my right testical, might even be on the testical, either way it's been there since I was 12 or 13. Brief Answer: It is Spermatocele. Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have small lump in spermatic cord near Rt testicle. This is most likely to be Cyst of Epididymis(Spermatocele)however the diagnosis has to be confirmed by clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon or Urologist and ultrasound scanning of the scrotum. This is a benign cyst containing clear fluid that occurs due to blockage of the tube carrying sperms from testis. It is painless and does not need any treatment unless increases in size. can a cyst cause infertility? or a lack to perduce an ample ammount of sperm to concieve?
